How To Play Slot Vegas Megaquads
Slot Vegas features a four-slot layout similar to the gameplay in Blueprint Gaming’s Gorilla Gold Megaways. The big advantage is that your bet is not based on what the cost of a game would be multiplied by four. Instead, there is only one bet for all reel sets.
Each reel set is similar to the Donuts game, where winning combinations are formed by landing three or four symbols on a payline. The payouts aren’t very impressive on their own, as the most generous symbol only pays out 1x for a quadruple win, so you really depend on building those multipliers.
Rainbow wilds
To help you land wins, there are two types of wilds. The first is a regular Wild that appears on the last three reels of each game, substituting for all standard symbols, and the Rainbow Wild appears on reels 2 and 3.
If you land a Rainbow Wild on two adjacent reel sets (e.g. reels 1 and 2 or 3 and 4), the reel sets will be combined. This makes it easier for you to land wins and accumulate multipliers.
Increasing multipliers
Next to the game is a meter that lists all the high paying symbols. Whenever you hit a quadruple win with one of these symbols, the counter increases by 1x. Then, whenever you land a winning combination with that symbol, its multiplier will be applied to your win.
However, it takes a while before you can increase your multipliers. You’d think that 4-in-a-row combos would be easy to trigger, but after 200 spins our multipliers were pretty disappointing:

Blue 7: 3x
Green 7: 9x
So you have to be very patient. However, once you manage to build up those multipliers, you can expect great win potential.
Remember that if you change your bet all your multipliers will be reset to 1x. Changing it back will restore your multipliers.
Free Spins
The Free Spins Bonus is triggered when you land 4 or more VIP Coins. You get 6 free spins for 4 coins and 3 more for each additional coin that triggers the round. Then when you get the free spins bonus, all counters contribute to the multiplier applied to all your free spins wins.
So let’s say you have 10 purple diamonds, 5 red 7s, 9 blue 7s and 8 green 7s and you trigger the free spins round with four VIP coins. You get 6 free spins – plus the sum of all symbol meters for a multiplier of 38x applicable to your winnings in this bonus.
This means it’s better if you have to wait a while for the free spins bonus so you can collect some extra spins. It’s the opposite of how it works on other slots where you want to reach the bonus game as quickly as possible.
Once you are in the Free Spins Bonus, the top two and bottom two reel sets combine to form two 4×8 grids. This gives you 4096 ways to win on each one.

Big Time Gaming has done it again with another interesting game mechanic. First there were Megaways, then Megaclusters and now there are Megaquads! This is another great game with lots of amazing win potential and some incredible bonus features – but it does require some patience.
This is the type of game where bankroll management is really important unless you’re a high roller. You need to watch your bets if you want to play long enough to build up the multipliers, as these really make a big difference in gameplay.
We thought the Rainbow Wilds feature would be pretty generous, but it doesn’t come up nearly as often as we would like. So it’s kind of a throwaway feature – unless you’re lucky enough to get it during the free spins round.
Overall, Big Time Gaming’s Slot Vegas Megaquads has the potential to be a great game, but it left us wanting more. Still, we’re looking forward to the next version of this series to see if there are any new features that improve gameplay.
